Franzè & Evans has been around for two years (coincidentally, this weekend is its official second birthday) but I have only realized how fabulous it is in the last six months. I’m a sucker for a place with great salads and delicious coffee, but Franzè & Evans is so much more than that.

If you ever go to the Italian Riviera, from Genoa all the way over to Cinque Terra, be sure to eat the specialties of the region: pesto and focaccia bread. One of my favourites was a very simple pasta dish: pesto Genovese over spaghetti.
